Listed below are older software programs that I wrote for a specific need for the Air Force; I've written hundreds of MsDos and Windows applications but I simply don't have space to post them all online. If there is one that you are interested in, send me an e-mail and I will try to dig it up for you:
- ADCFIX - Repaired a Y2K bug with the Automated Document Control application (Supply). Would delete temporary files (aka: document scans) that were older than 15 days old, then properly purge the working database of the related information.
- Automated BSS/IEU - I wrote this while in Al Jaber, Kuwait. We didn't have any point of sale program for managing our base service store/individual equipment warehouses. This was a full featured application that handled the front counter (issuing items) and the back side of the building (property receipt / warehouse inventory). It also handled retention item management (flak jackets, helmets, etc).
- CES Manager - I wrote this one in Al Jaber, Kuwait as a favor. It managed the supplies and equipment used to perform work around the base.
- Classified Authorization Program - Used by the an equipment management section for managing personnel who were equipment custodians.
- CSU Analysis Program - Used for analyzing the customer service element for monthly statistics.
- Customer Service Labels - Print D38 (bench stock) and R38 (equipment) labels. Later updated to handle printing Supply Point labels. Printed to dot matrix and laser printer labels. Used dedicated SURGE to generate data from the SBSS mainframe.
- CWDE Tracker - Another Al Jaber, Kuwait application. This one managed all CWDE gear in the theater, to include the expiration dates of all gear. Dramatically increased the theater readiness posture, and provided management with the ability to recall gear that the Army testing center had deemed unsuitable for use. Also used for weekly briefings to senior staff on CWDE requirements.
- DISATrak - Managed DISA Form 41 forms for a Supply Systems Analyst to manager user accounts for the SBSS mainframe. Generated form-letters for quarterly terminal security reviews, import the SBSS userfile for account management.
- Family Care - Manage their squadron family care program. Literally shaved hours off user workload - generates mail merged form letters after calculating what internal data was overdue for renewal inside the folder (power of attorney, etc). Download the installer HERE.
- JobTrak - Used by Supply System Analysts to manage mainframe job requests (2011's). Automated the quarterly review; detected all forms coming up on expiration that required revalidation.
- LeaveTrak - Leave program manager. Generates properly filled out AF Form 988 documents for Accounting & Finance. Automatically calculates the different dates that previously required personnel to compute manually. Handles all government holidays. Generate list of all personnel currently on leave status for recall purposes. Download the installer HERE.
- LG Suspense Program - This is a suspense program that Hulbert Field LG wanted to utilize for tracking their internal suspense's.
- METLtrak - Used to track METL indicators for an entire base. Saved medical group personnel hours weekly by automating personnel calculations. Imported the PC3 "Focus Report" for personnel data that METL squadron monitors could validate for various METL indicators.
- NGV068 / Initials List - Automated the SBSS user file to easily generate formatted lists for reject and document control monitor use
- NGV934 - Automated this SBSS list for equipment manager information.
- Orderly Room Tracker - Manages the majority of squadron Orderly Room tasks: Decorations / EPR's / OPR's, Environmental Leave Program (EML), Inbound Personnel, Performance Feedback, UIF folders and Weight Management Program. Download the installer HERE.
- QRLTrak - I wrote this for the to replace the MsDos "FASIK" program.
- R29 Companion - Imported the R29 SBSS output file for Customer Service personnel to work effectively. After one month of use the R29 report shrank from 300+ pages to under 100.
- Recreation Center Tracker - I wrote this for the Al Jaber, Kuwait recreation center, who was losing dozens of items (vhs tapes, sports equipment, etc) monthly to theft. Originally written in 1999, it has been in use 24-7-365 since then with zero problems.
- Report of Discrepancy Tracker - Used by the report of discrepancy monitors to manage their ROD program from cradle to grave. Far superior to RODIS. Download the installer HERE.
- SBSS Distribution Tracker - This automated the 2S0X2 tasks related to nightly SBSS processing. It tied in with the paperless SBSS concept that I created while in NM.
- ShelfTrak - Used by warehouses to track HAZMAT items. Handles individual items, to include their individual inspection dates and HAZMAT expiration dates. Marries up with the Asnud program to automate on-hand balances. A whole slew of reporting options and features!
- Skills Bank - Manages the ancillary skills that assigned personnel possess for crisis situations. Written after 9/11, where it became important to know which base personnel had real-time non-AFSC skills that could be utilized on short notice.
- SoftTrak - Automates all aspects of ADPE and software management. I also included the ability to manage SBSS security information. Print worksheets for large upgrade projects and ADPE inventory. Download the installer HERE.
- SPAADL - I originally wrote this in Clipper in 1998. It imports the Lockheed Martin data into a searchable database for maintenance personnel to locate IS&G parts.
- StealthZip - This is a Winzip clone that I wrote for fun. It was even faster than Winzip at compressing/decompressing files.
- Supply Suspense Program - Another program that I originally wrote in Clipper and migrated to Windows. Automated all aspects of suspense management. Download the installer HERE.
- Surveillance Tracker - Automated squadron surveillance program manager. Took a completely broken down paper methodology (that was killing their workload) and turned it around 180 degrees. Automated all aspects of the surveillance program; sophisticated security system allowed section chiefs to access selective areas for responding to the inspectors findings (and vice versa). Download the installer HERE.
- Tech Helper - This is a full fledged helpdesk database that also had the benefit of becoming a searchable knowledgebase (assuming that your people correctly filled in the tech solutions).
- Web Backup - This tied into my paperless SBSS reports project. This program was ran prior to SBSS crossover, and would shift data into the proper folders after compressing them into *.ZIP format.
